According to the Daily Mail, Romelu Lukaku believes that the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic can help his side claw back the eight-point lead in the title race, which Manchester rivals, Manchester City, have on them.

Ibrahimovic has been out since April with a knee ligament injury, and since then, the Swede has left and joined the club again.

He is expected to return from injury in the new year and he will add to the current Manchester United strike force of Lukaku, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

Ibrahimovic played 46 games for Manchester United and scored 28 goals for the club and got 10 assists during his one season.

When speaking to Sky Sports News, Lukaku said

It motivates me really, because he’s another good player to add to the squad. When you face a team like us it’s difficult for opponents. Ibrahimovic coming back will help us chase Manchester City.
