# Eric Bailly to return for United this weekend

Manchester United defender Eric Bailly is set to make his return from injury for the club in the FA Cup this weekend.

United are ready to lock horns with Huddersfield Town, with the two sides set to face off in the FA Cup first round tie at the John Smith’s Stadium, and the Ivorian defender will be back in action for the first time since November.

The Ivory Coast international suffered a knee injury midway through November and subsequently underwent surgery in December.

Prior to his injury, the centre-back had helped the Red Devils keep eight clean sheets in the ten games he played in this season.

Jose Mourinho’s side have been largely inconsistent at the back of this season, and Bailly’s return will be a huge boost as the club continue their pursuit of silverware.

Speaking with MUTV ahead of the match-up, Mourinho confirmed the availability of the 23-year old, saying;

> Eric Bailly is fit and ready for Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup tie with Huddersfield.
