Marouane Fellaini in talks with Roma over summer transfer
According to the Daily Star, Marouane Fellaini has opened talks with AS Roma about moving to the club at the end of the season.
The Belgian was offered a 12-month contract extension in September but turned it down, and he has also rejected another offer from Ed Woodward.
It is claimed that Fellaini would like a longer deal than United are offering him, and that the deal must be on improved terms due to the fact that it could be the last big contract that he signs with a club.
After not being able to come to any agreement on deal, Fellaini has reportedly decided to look at which clubs he could move to at the end of the current season.
A name that has been mentioned already is Turkish club Galatasaray, who apparently offered Fellaini a three-year-deal worth roughly £150,000 per week.
Fellaini is reportedly reluctant to play football in Turkey, so this deal looks unlikely despite him being guaranteed over £20 million in earnings throughout the three years of the deal.
The Belgian apparently believes that Serie A is a better league for him as it is more suited to his style of play. Inter Milan and Juventus are also interested, so it looks to be a battle between those two clubs and Roma over who can give him the better deal.
