Manchester United are interested in signing highly-rated Tottenham prospect Nonso Madueke, according to MailOnline.
The 16-year old midfielder, who has been registered to play for Spurs in the UEFA Youth League, has reportedly turned down the offer of a new contract from the North London club and is ready to make a step away.
United have been following his progress over the past 18 months, and have now offered to take the England youth international to Spain with their U16s squad for the MIC Tournament this week.
Madueke shot to prominence when he was named as player of the tournament in the Sonnerland Cup in 2017, and has since attracted attention from Chelsea, as well as United.
Despite Madueke not wanting to commit to Spurs, the club will be able to command a compensation fee when he joins another club, having offered him new terms.
