Manchester United return to Premier League action this weekend as they entertain Swansea City at Old Trafford.
United haven’t been in action in the league for over three weeks now since the victory over Liverpool at Old Trafford in a 2-1 but have since moved into the last four of the FA Cup.
United have struggled as of late in all competitions but are now the favourites to secure a second place finish following the victory over Liverpool.
United have had a number of players away on international duty in recent weeks but have a strong squad to choose upon for the visit of the Swans.
The visitors are still in a critical position in the league far from assured of their status in the Premier League next season so it will be a tough test this weekend for José Mourinho’s side.
Here is how I feel Mourinho’s side will line up this weekend.
GK - David De Gea
The best keeper in the league and he simply has to start.
RB - Antonio Valencia
Has nailed his place in the side in recent years and is one of the first names on the team sheet, and will also captain.
CB - Chris Smalling
Has performed very well for the club in recent games and deserves to retain his starting spot.
CB - Eric Bailly
Recently returned from a long term injury and I expect him to keep his place in the side for this one.
LB - Ashley Young
Been sensational so far this season and is clearly the clubs first choice in this area so he’ll start.
DM - Nemanja Matic
One of the best performers for the side this season and he deserves to keep his place in the side.
DM - Scott Mctominay
A superb performer when given the opportunity and I feel he will start this one.
AM - Paul Pogba
Having missed out in recent games I feel the Frenchman will come back in.
RW - Jesse Lingard
Has been in sensational form for club and country as of late and he must start this one.
LW - Alexis Sanchez
He was dropped for the cup quarter final but I feel that he will come back into the side for this one.
ST - Romelu Lukaku
His recent form has been very good and he has to start.
