Manchester United make the long journey to the south coast on Wednesday night as they face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
The Red Devils will be itching to get back to winning ways after handing the title to rivals Manchester City at the weekend following a shock 1-0 defeat against bottom side West Brom.
United’s only chance of silverware this season comes in the FA Cup and with a semi-final against Tottenham on Saturday evening to come, Jose Mourinho may decide to pick his side with that in mind.
Bournemouth look set for another mid-table finish in the Premier League and United will hope that their players will not be at full throttle for the game.
Second place is not yet set in stone so they will head down to Bournemouth knowing that a win is vital.
Mourinho will expect a reaction from his players following the weekend and here’s how we think they will line up:
David de Gea
The best keeper in the league by far.
Often captain, which shows how good he has become.
Should keep his place in the side.
Rested against West Brom due to the hectic schedule, so he should reclaim his place.
He’s been in good form this season.
Played every game in the league and that should continue.
With the FA Cup semi-final in mind on Saturday, he will be afforded a start.
Found himself in favour in recent games.
Improved a lot this season.
After the weekend’s performance, expect a return to the side for the youngster.
Top scorer and you’d expect him to be on the score sheet here.
