Manchester United confirmed their second place finish in the Premier League with a goalless draw against West Ham United at the London Stadium on Thursday night.
West Ham had secured their safety last week, so in reality there was little to play for, and the game reflected that.
Both sides were largely lacklustre, although Adrian did keep the Hammers in the game at times with a series of smart saves.
Manchester United will now face Watford in their final league game of the 2017/18 season at Old Trafford next week, before they face Chelsea in the FA Cup final the following weekend.
Before that, here are our player ratings for this fixture.
David de Gea - 6
De Gea didn’t have much to do, in a game that was fairly sparse of chances. The Spaniard won his career first Golden Glove for his 18th clean sheet of the season.
Antonio Valencia - 5
Not the best game for the midfielder-cum-defender, who was inconsistent on the right flank.
Chris Smalling - 5
Had a good chance at one point but was largely disappointing. Had trouble dealing with Marko Arnautovic.
Phil Jones - 7
Jones is making a late charge to make the England squad and did a very decent job of it.
Luke Shaw - 6
Almost got on the scoresheet but was criticised by José Mourinho for getting too far forward. More evidence that his future is best away from Old Trafford.
Ander Herrera - 5
Had a difficult night, and was lackadaisical on the ball.
Scott McTominay - 5
Looked good once again, and despite fading in the second half, continues to show his promising future.
Paul Pogba - 5
Unreliable and complacent, Pogba tried to make things happen but struggled to do so.
Jesse Lingard - 6
Best of United’s forwards who created a number of chances and tested Adrian.
Alexis Sanchez - 5
Frequently dropped to deep to adequately lead the line. Very much showed that he is an auxiliary striker at best.
Marcus Rashford – 5
Didn’t do much.
Ashley Young – N/A
Eric Bailly – N/A
