Manchester United pair Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial are both injury doubts for this weekend’s FA Cup final against Chelsea.

Both missed yesterday’s final Premier League match against Watford, and it remains unclear whether either will feature in the Wembley clash, according to the Daily Mail.

Lukaku has been absent since picking up an ankle injury against Arsenal last month, while Martial missed out due to a knee injury sustained in training on Friday.

Manager Jose Mourinho said after yesterday’s 1-0 win:

Anthony, I have to wait a bit for more. It’s his knee.  He was injured in the Friday training session and yesterday (Saturday) he couldn’t train. He had treatment in the morning at the training ground and he stayed away. I’m waiting for the doctor but when it’s impossible to play today, I have my doubts (for the cup final).

Lukaku is United’s leading goalscorer this term with 16 in the league, but Martial has been in and out of the side throughout the campaign.

The Frenchman has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, possibly as part of a swap deal with Dortmund for youngster Christian Pulisic.

Mourinho will be keen to finish the season with some silverware, having finished 19 points behind champions Manchester City and exiting the Carabao Cup at the hands of Bristol City in the quarter-finals.

Several key players were rested against Watford, including David De Gea, Ander Hererra and Jesse Lingard.
