# Manchester United Step Up Conceicao Pursuit as Zirkzee Swap Expected

Manchester United are exploring a move for Juventus winger Francisco Conceicao, with striker Joshua Zirkzee potentially heading the other way as part of any agreement. According to [Goal](https://news.google.com/rss/articles/CBMinAJBVV95cUxQTGE3Y3dZYkhOMGtpRTkyWnFNUmhydEhJaTlhWUZ0TUhYVDNaMEdCLVBpNElzYkpOZXdidFJta2xFd2pYVzFjRlBXdk5fMzBrVWt2TkRpTkkwa2tES3hyM2xCZnh0NXBlWExwR294WVQ3cVhaekZWTV95T0JEejVOSlU5VUdDLWR1a2kzbmtCUnhzVmhBMm9DZWE0SWkweTdSZlZaS09wNUc1MlRRVzdwT0xBSUNTbFNNVkdldWtYSmdYZE55SGJBcm9MSEhUQXhlVkJlS0R4Mk40UVFZdWVSUVVocU9EazFpU2N0TE5ORzR6UHM0X3R6VWh0OWlMc181WmNQdkh2cDN2SWstMjdHSTktc0libEthZmpyWA?oc=5), super-agent Jorge Mendes is driving talks over a possible Conceicao switch to Old Trafford, though no formal bid has been confirmed and neither club has commented publicly.

## Why United want Conceicao

The Portugal international is said to be open to a fresh challenge after his spell at Juventus. [Transfermarkt](https://news.google.com/rss/articles/CBMizAFBVV95cUxPUEwwQXJiaGFubWNoVFJRYk43RlhoSVQ0MjJsbnBFYW5wS0kwU2pSd1hrQl9pY0JLdnRsUnpRMzFlVEFjQXZITFpEb01ELVN6bGhaZUdLMndqNzExaThQNXZHZFlwT0xSdUh0czhyNGUxZU8zcUp4UjRlSVhLdmpLVFZoaGxDOHlpZDdBUmxUQU9LVmZxMHdnRE91T2xDTWJYYUkwOF9Jc1VHaVdXWHczR3N4Tm56MnlFdnV1UmlhUGVHMmpWemYwLXpfbjY?oc=5) also list the winger on United’s radar, and the Red Devils’ interest fits a summer in which Carrick is reshaping his forward line. Zirkzee, who wears No.11 at Old Trafford, has been floated as a makeweight who could appeal to Juventus, but that element of the deal remains firmly at the speculation stage.

As things stand this is a link rather than anything close to completion. United have made no confirmed incoming signings this window, so any talk of a Conceicao arrival — or a Zirkzee departure — should be treated with caution until a named outlet reports concrete terms.

With the market open and Mendes involved, expect the story to move quickly. Supporters can follow every development through United’s [summer transfer business](https://readmanutd.com/category/transfers/) as the window unfolds.
