## Conceicao Transfer: Agent Confirms Manchester United Approach

Manchester United’s interest in Juventus winger Francisco Conceicao has taken a fresh turn, with the player’s camp now acknowledging contact. The Conceicao transfer story gathered pace on Friday as the [Manchester Evening News](https://news.google.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?oc=5) reported that the winger’s agent has confirmed an approach, while [The Mirror](https://news.google.com/rss/articles/CBMikgFBVV95cUxOTWJWNjlJUkpyaGRHenkzSmRCM1ZjMnNGaVRORzdWcHA4aHlaQVdIUDVJNnQzMGFKMUxIZEh3LU5IRldhNzFpVDBBcF90dEh1eUZwU1NiSDhBZklFeGFURmJMTUxKVDlTc0ZtMF9RQmdWRHVtS0QzQzJDZlFtQ0p3YVhkTEZNWXN4dEVDWW5KdGJzd9IBlwFBVV95cUxNWFFTOXlZVUFHNEgwaWs4RVFLSU9MemMxX1dYczVmdXE4MWVFcnB6ZGpXb1pYTFdHTkdjQi10aXRka1pMMGJZUV9SQUxnejJPeDYyY3pyLXMtNmFTR0NLV3luaVpLZGJoZmw5ZlMtanhSS0dnanViMF9sbk5CdTR0YlFPbEUzM1BpeFlRRDNMMEV2QjJ5cHY0?oc=5) outlined United’s stance on his reported £42m valuation.

## What the Conceicao transfer means for United

The Portugal international, 23, is understood to be open to leaving Turin, with super-agent Jorge Mendes said to be driving the talks. Reports have floated Joshua Zirkzee as a possible makeweight, though nothing is close to agreed and the Red Devils are yet to firm up terms. For Michael Carrick’s side — back in the Champions League after finishing third last season — a direct, pacey wide man addresses an obvious summer priority at Old Trafford.

United have not confirmed a single incoming signing this window, so any breakthrough for Conceicao would mark their first business of the summer. As always with a Mendes-brokered move, the framework can shift quickly, and the reported fee remains just that — reported, not agreed.

With the window open and the noise building around a possible switch, supporters should brace for rapid developments. Follow every twist through our [latest United transfer news](https://readmanutd.com/category/transfers/) as Carrick weighs up how to sharpen his attack.
