# Man Utd told £50m offer could tempt Fulham to sell highly rated teenager

**Manchester United could face an expensive battle to sign Fulham youngster Josh King, with offers exceeding £50million potentially enough to persuade the London club to consider a sale.**

The 19-year-old has attracted attention with his performances this season, despite Fulham’s difficult results.

## **Fulham set £50m price for Josh King**

[Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast](https://www.footballinsider247.com/manchester-united/sources-man-united-told-50m-josh-king-offer-could-be-accepted), Pete O’Rourke explained that King’s growing reputation has put him on the radar of several major clubs.

“Josh King will be on the radar for a number of clubs because of his performances for Fulham so far this season,” O’Rourke said.

“It’s not just Liverpool, there’s been talk of the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and even Barcelona looking at Josh King.”

Fulham are not actively planning to let the teenager leave in the near future as he is under contract until 2029. The contract length gives Fulham an upper hand, while interest from multiple clubs indicates a concession is not expected.

“Fulham are not planning for any early departure for Josh King. He is still under contract until 2029, and obviously they’ll want to keep him.”

The reporter also pointed to Fulham’s league position as a factor that could influence their decision. If they become embroiled in a relegation battle, losing one of their best performers would be a major risk.

“If Manchester United or any other club wanted to make an offer, he’s going to be worth in excess of £50million probably right now.”
