Manchester United have announced the squad that will fly out to the United States for the club’s pre-season tour.
New signings Morgan Schneiderlin, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Matteo Darmian and Memphis Depay have been included in the 26-man squad.
Louis van Gaal’s side will be without Marcos Rojo and Angel Di Maria following their participation in Argentina’s run to the Copa America final whilst goalkeeper Victor Valdes hasn’t made the cut.
Brazilian defender Rafael will be staying at home, which will only increase the speculation that he is leaving the club. Another player tipped the leave this summer, David De Gea, is travelling with the team despite the continued link with a move to Real Madrid.
The team play the first match of their tour on 18th July when they take on Club America. They also take on San Jose Earthquakes, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain by the end of the month.
