United kit mistakenly out on sale

Sick of looking at “leaked” images of the new Manchester United home shirt? Don’t want to wait until the 1st of August to see the real deal? Look no further

The 2015/16 home shirt has accidentally been put on sale in the United States. An American sportswear chain called Dick’s Sporting Goods has mistakenly started selling the kit alongside other Adidas manufactured club outfits today.

The traditional red shirt features white stripes on the sleeves as Adidas have thrown-back to the 80’s with a retro-inspired effort. It will please many fans, who are bored of the more modern ideas being banded about nowadays.

The kit was scheduled to be released on the 1st of August, when United’s current contract with Nike ends, as they were unable to buy the deal out in order to be wearing the Adidas gear on the ongoing preseason tour. The team are yet to play both Barcelona and PSG wearing their old manufacturer’s tops, before the under-21 side will be the first to play in the 2015/16 strip.

The kit, which is on sale next to the new Bayern Munich and Real Madrid home shirts, is priced at $90 in the store, suggesting that it will cost £55-60 when released in the UK. This is normal price nowadays as commercial deals are ever-more put before fan’s wallets.
