Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign Kevin de Bruyne according to SPORT1.
De Bruyne has been heavily linked with Manchester City all summer but United are prepared to make a £55 million bid in an attempt to beat their local rivals for his signature.

The 24 attacking midfielder, who can also play as a winger, has been described as one of the best playmakers currently around due to accurate passing and lethal finishing.
United who have also been linked with Gareth Bale, Neymar and Thomas Muller, have been told none of which are for sale by Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich respectively.
The former Chelsea player struggled for game time at Stamford Bridge before moving to Wolfsburg where he has scored 20 goals in 72 appearance for the Bundesliga club.
