Manchester United fan favourite Juan Mata keeps the Red Devils’ faithful entertained on a weekly basis on the pitch; he’s scored or assisted 44% of his side’s goals this season.
He also writes a weekly blog, which is adored by United fans far and wide. However, he’s becoming ever-more lovable through the medium of a YouTube channel, for which the subscriptions are growing exponentially.
His latest installment on there is excellent – Juan has filmed himself on a basketball court, trying to net with his feet. As you’d expect from such a technically gifted player, he manages a few baskets (on the volley nonetheless!).
Basketball is fairly big in Spain, with Barcelona and Real Madrid’s ‘baloncesto’ teams being two of the best in the Euro League… This could explain Mata’s interest in the sport.
Maybe some extra practice is needed, Juan? Maybe someone should tell our favourite Spaniard that he’s meant to be using his hands?
