Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera wants to repay the fans for sticking with the side through tough times with a win against Swansea on Saturday.
The Reds are on an eight-match run without a win, and the Spaniard started the past two games against Stoke and Chelsea after spending weeks out on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
Herrera could have easily won the game for the Reds last night against Chelsea, with his shot in the second half being miraculously saved by Thibault Courtois in the Blues goal.

And the 26-year-old admitted that he was ready to celebrate scoring a goal, saying to MUTV:
I was in the right position. The cross of Anthony [Martial], I think, was very good, so I didn’t know if [Cesar] Azpilicueta touched the ball.
I don’t know what happened, to be honest. I was going to celebrate it and saw the ball was not in. So we cannot complain anymore. We showed today we were the better team but it was not enough. We cannot be happy but we can be proud of what we did today. We have to be realistic, we have to win games but this is the way we have to play, I think.

Herrera is also determined to give the fans something to celebrate in the next few weeks, having been taken aback by their support during this tough stretch. He said:
What I can say is we are going to talk on the pitch because we want to make our fans proud. When you see our fans against Stoke, after the game, they were still singing and still supporting us. You really feel… I don’t know how to explain it.
I want to make them proud as quickly as possible against Swansea. We can do it. They are a tough team, they are not in the best moment, but I haven’t won against them yet. Three games and three defeats. We have to win at home and in front of our fans.
