Under-21’s set to play at Old Trafford
Manchester United’s under-21 side are set to turn out under the lights at Old Trafford next month, as per the club’s official website.
Warren Joyce’s side, who are champions of their division and closing in on another title win, are yet to play at the Theatre of Dreams so far this season, but that will change in their upcoming fixture against Norwich City’s under-21 outfit.
On the 8th of February, names such as Will Keane, Axel Tuanzebe and James Weir will take to the hallowed turf to extend their bid for domestic silverware at the end of the season. Currently sitting in second in the league with three games in hand on leaders Sunderland, with six points between the sides, the title push is well and truly in motion.
Entry to Old Trafford will be free to everyone on the night, on a purely turn-up and walk-in basis, with kick-off at 7pm.
Norwich City’s under-21’s are ten points behind the Red Devils, having played four more games, so Joyce will be disappointed if his side don’t pick up the three points, especially with striker Will Keane in good form.
