It’s the 1st of April and that means United fans have sat through another month of not really knowing whether to expect their team to come out swinging or to wait until the second half to turn the telly on – United have been so unpredictable in their form and performances that almost every match is now impossible to call.
March was a month of disappointment in many respects – United were booted from the Europa League by bitter rivals Liverpool, forced into an FA Cup replay by West Ham United and defeated by West Bromwich Albion.
However, the month was closed off in beautiful fashion, so looking back on it doesn’t seem as painful as it could have; United beat Manchester City 1-0 at the Etihad just before the international break.
Despite the number of lacklustre performances from the team as a whole, there were a few standout performers last month. Choose your player of the month for March below, using our Duel feature.
