After United’s clean sheet against an Everton side boasting the talents of Ross Barkley, Gerard Deulofeu and the ever-menacing Romelu Lukaku, we think the best time to ask fans their thoughts on United’s defence would be now!
With Matteo Darmian, Chris Smalling, Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo and (when fit again) Luke Shaw all fairly certain to be picked for their country at every opportunity, United have a wealth of talent at the back. Add to that Guillermo Varela’s recent Uruguay call-up and Timothy Fosu-Mensah’s importance to the Netherlands at youth levels, the present and future are both bright in defence at Old Trafford.
So which of the players tops the lot? Decide here with our Duel feature!
