Despite all the talk about the standards of Manchester United’s academy in recent months, Carrington is still producing players ready to play for the Reds on the biggest stage.
This season alone, seven players have been promoted from the Academy ranks to make their first-team debuts for Louis van Gaal’s side – most notably Marcus Rashford, who has had an instant impact and become almost a first-team fixture at Old Trafford.
However, there are still a number of players waiting in the wings for a first-team debut in the future and most notably at under-18 level, there are a couple of players that could become star names at Old Trafford in a couple of years time.
