David Beckham is now a household name in the world of sport and entertainment, but he was first and foremost just a boy from Leytonstone in East London who played for his favourite club, Manchester United.
He would win six Premier League titles, two FA Cups and a Champions League title at Old Trafford, making 394 appearances for the Reds while holding down a first-team place on the right wing before his departure in the summer of 2003 after a disappointing fall-out with Sir Alex Ferguson.
