Louis van Gaal has been relieved of his duties as manager of Manchester United. His Dutch coaching staff, including Frans Hoek and Albert Stuivenberg will follow him out the door at Old Trafford, according to the Daily Mail
This comes just days after the Red Devils beat Crystal Palace in the most dramatic manner, in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
José Mourinho is all but expected to take over from the Dutchman at Old Trafford in the coming days.

Van Gaal leaves Manchester with one trophy to his name, but despite the tepid football that the 64-year-old has overseen at times, he leaves behind a solid foundation that the Old Trafford club can build on.
He has overseen the likes of Marcus Rashford and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson coming through the United academy during his two seasons at the Theatre of Dreams, while bringing in Luke Shaw and Anthony Martial – who will no doubt go on to be fantastic players.

Van Gaal has also managed to get rid of some of the deadwood that was left behind by Sir Alex Ferguson and David Moyes, with the likes of Nani, Tom Cleverley and Robin van Persie heading out of Manchester during his tenure.
As of present, Van Gaal’s time in Manchester will not be fondly remembered by many United fans, but in time, perhaps they will appreciate the foundations that he laid for the next manager – and nobody will ever forget the FA Cup the Dutchman brought the club; their first since 2004.
