Four things we learned from Mourinho’s first press conference

It’s been a long time coming, but José Mourinho has been officially unveiled as Manchester United manager this morning at Old Trafford.

The world’s press flocked to the Theatre of Dreams to see the 53-year-old hold his first press conference as United manager, having succeeded Louis van Gaal after the Dutchman’s sacking back in May.

Mourinho started his new job this week, preparing the players he currently has his disposal for pre-season and the upcoming tour to China, as well as completing a couple of signings – Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have both joined United as the Portuguese manager’s first arrivals.

As usual, the Special One was in a bullish mood and had plenty to say – setting out his targets as the new man in charge as well as aiming a couple of digs at fellow managers and even former Manchester United managers!
