Manchester United are back in action on Saturday against Wigan Athletic.
The pre-season encounter will be the Reds’ first game since the FA Cup final win against Crystal Palace in May when Louis van Gaal was still in charge.
This game, therefore, will be Jose Mourinho’s first as manager of the Reds, although he will be without 12 players who are on holiday following their international duties at Euro 2016 and the Copa America.
Wigan should make for decent opposition having been promoted back into the Championship for this season, and the Latics even boast a couple of ex-United players in their side, too.
