Galatasaray want €25 million for United target

Galatasaray have slapped a €25 million price tag on winger Bruma to ward off reported interest from Manchester United and PSV Eindhoven, according to ESPN FC.

The 21-year-old has been one of the Turkish side’s top performers in pre-season and scored his sixth goal in five games during their 5-2 defeat against United in Sweden on Saturday.

And after the game, Bruma revealed that José Mourinho had spoken to him after the match, praising his performance and told reporters that the United manager said he would be keeping tabs on him this season:

He congratulated me for the performance and said he was impressed with me. He promised to closely monitor my work and said I could play for the national team soon.

Of course it was amazing to hear this from Mourinho and he said he will keep an eye on how I do this season.

Bruma was hailed as one of Portuguese’s football brightest prospects after breaking through at Sporting Lisbon and joined Galatasaray for €10 million in 2013 after a contract dispute with his former club.

However, his development was stunted by a serious knee injury and last season he was loaned out to La Liga side Real Sociedad, where he scored three times and provided one assist in 33 appearances.
