Galatasaray are interested in signing Manchester United fullback Antonio Valencia in a £1.3m deal this summer, according to Turkish paper AMK.
Valencia’s contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season and he doesn’t feature in Jose Mourinho’s first team plans this season as a summer move edges nearer.
The 31-year-old caught the eye of Galatasaray club chiefs during United’s 5-2 pre-season win over the Turkish giants where Valencia picked up three assists in the victory.
It’s believed that Galatasaray are ready to offer the Ecuador international a four-year contract if they can agree a deal with the Red Devils.
The Super Lig outfit are readying a bid of £1.3m to sign Valencia this summer – it remains to be seen whether that will be enough to get the deal done.
Valencia isn’t the only Manchester United player Galatasaray are eyeing a summer move for. German legend Bastian Schweinsteiger is also on their wishlist before the transfer window closes.
