Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian may not be in Jose Mourinho’s first-choice starting eleven, but it appears that his lack of playing time has not put other clubs off, with a few top sides interested in a move for the Italy international.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Serie A sides Napoli and Juventus, as well as Antonio Conte’s Chelsea are interested in the right-back, who can also play as a full-back.
Darmian hit the ground running at United, with his early performances for the club seeing him likened to Red Devils legend Gary Neville – but he has long looked like he is playing with no confidence and has been nowhere near his best for over a year now.

It is clear that that Matteo has talent and could be one of the top right-backs in Europe but he needs a different style of play to what United are utilising and a wing-back role such as what is so popular with Serie A sides would definitely suit him better; he thrived in such a system with Torino.
The Italian has made just 40 appearances for United, scoring one goal. United boss Jose Mourinho has preferred winger-cum-full-back Antonio Valencia on the right side of defence so far this season.
