Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is already making plans for the January transfer window. United have lost three games in a row in the Premier League and Europa League against Manchester City, Feyenoord and Watford, and the Portuguese manager clearly feels there is something missing from his squad.
According to Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are prioritising a January move for Sporting Club midfielder William Carvalho. The 24-year-old Portugal midfielder has long been a player of interest to Europe’s top clubs and has been subject to failed bids by such outfits in the past.
Carvalho has made 111 appearances for Sporting since making their senior squad in 2011 and played for Portugal during the 2016 European Championships, which they won.

His only major honour besides that is his 2014-15 Taca de Portugal win with Sporting.
The M.E.N. also write that United are interested in 18-year-old Juventus midfielder Grigoris Kastanos, who is yet to make his senior debut for the Old Lady.
A Cypriot national team player, Kastanos looks to have a very bright future and working under a manager like Mourinho would do him no harm.
