After the upcoming international break, it is set to be a bumper October for Manchester United – one that could shape the entire season ahead.
Of course, United started the month with a disappointing 1-1 draw against Stoke City at home, with Anthony Martial’s great strike cancelled out by a late goal from Joe Allen and the Reds sit sixth in the Premier League table going into the break, five points behind Manchester City.
United will be fighting on three fronts for the rest of the month – with fixtures in the Premier League, Europa League and the EFL Cup forthcoming – and this will be a great opportunity for José Mourinho’s side to stamp a marker for the rest of the season, with some massive fixtures in store.
