The international break is long and boring, taking away from our traditional weekends consumed by football, instead replacing them with mundane, bland evening games in which England usually scrape a win against bang average opposition on a week night.
To liven up the time between now and our next dose of Premier League action, we’ve decided to give United fans a chance to vote for their favourite or best starting eleven, position by position.
In some positions, there are plenty of options to choose from for one or two spots in the side, whilst for others, the choice is a simple one – but in the interests of a fair and democratic vote, we won’t even make the easy choices for you!
We’re asking you to pick the two centre-backs for our fan XI now!
Use our Duel feature to cast your vote. Two players will come up and you simply have to choose the better player (in your opinion) in a winner-stays-on format.
The top two centre-backs in this vote will be used in the fan XI, with the third having a spot on the bench.
