“Antoine Griezmann’s buy-out clause is €100m”

According to @GFFN on Twitter, Manchester United target, Antoine Griezmann has a €100m (£83.7m) release clause at Atletico Madrid.

Manchester United have been chasing the Frenchman ever since he’s made a name for himself in La Liga and on the world stage but their hopes of signing the versatile attacker could be faltered if these reports are believed to be true.

However, you shouldn’t put it past Manchester United to pay this amount of money for Griezmann if you consider the fact that they spent £89m on Paul Pogba last summer who does not offer as much as the Atletico Madrid star.

Also, The Red Devils need a new striker in the summer, especially if Zlatan Ibrahimovic decides not to renew his contract at Old Trafford, so maybe spending this amount of money on Griezmann will be worth it.

If the Euro 2016 top scorer and Player of the Tournament does join United then they’ll be strong contenders for the Premier League title next season. There have been many times this season where they needed someone else but Ibrahimovic to get them goals to win games but no one has stepped up but Antoine Griezmann will be that man to step up if they can pull this transfer off.
