Manchester United are a club back on the rise. After a dormant few seasons following the Sir Alex Ferguson era, United have won the FA Cup, League Cup, Europa League and Community Shield in a 12-month spell, as well as having signed the likes of Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in that time.
Of course, the FA Cup victory came under the charge of Jose Mourinho’s predecessor, Louis van Gaal, who was sacked for failing to seal Champions League football for the club – something which Mourinho has ensured at the first attempt.
Now that the sleeping giant of Old Trafford is back in the big time, and with Zlatan Ibrahimovic released by the club (although still recovering from his ligament injury with the Red Devils), United need some fire power up front.
There has been plenty of speculation as to who may be joining Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial up front for United in 2017-18, so we want to know who you’d most like to see in red, out of the most realistic targets.
We’ve lined a few up for you below – but have only included out-and-out strikers, so the likes of Neymar and Felipe Anderson don’t make the list, as they predominantly play on the wing.
It’s a winner-stays-on format – simply pick your favourite player out of the two options that appear… and don’t forget to tweet your result to us @ReadManUtd.
