Manchester United are in a strange place in preparation for their showdown with Liverpool on Saturday afternoon.
On one hand, United fans and players alike will be very happy to be going into the game at Anfield level on points with Manchester City atop the Premier League table.
On the other hand, Jose Mourinho and co will be bitterly disappointed to be missing key players such as Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini through injury.
