According to Daily Mail, Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic could return to the bench for Manchester United when they play Newcastle at the weekend.
Pogba has been out of the side since September after suffering an injury in United’s Champions League tie against Basel.
Ibrahimovic has been out for much longer, after suffering a cruciate ligament injury in April, since then he has left the club and re-joined them again!
Since Pogba’s injury, United have lost ground on local rivals and league leaders Manchester City, who they now trail by eight points, and although City look unstoppable, Pogba’s and Ibrahimovic’s return will help with their chase of the title.
Pogba formed a great partnership at the beginning of the season with new signing Nemanja Matic so United and their fans will be wishing they can recreate the form they showed in the early signs of the campaign.
Although Ibrahimovic will probably not get in front of another new signing, Romelu Lukaku, the Swede will be a great impact from the bench if United get into any situations where they need a goal.
