Yet another international break has come to a close, and you’ll be delighted to read that there won’t be another one until March — so fasten your seatbelts, because it’s four months of pure Manchester United action from here on in.
Next up for the Red Devils is the visit of Rafael Benitez and his Newcastle United side.
The Magpies are 11th in the Premier League, with 14 points from the 11 games played so far; whilst United are nine points better off and sit in second place by virtue of a superior goal difference to that of Tottenham Hotspur.
United went into the international break off the back of a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, whilst Newcastle lost 1-0 to both Burnley and Bournemouth before the stoppage in Premier League fixtures.
Both sides will be looking to pick up points at Old Trafford ahead of a packed festive schedule, so it’s bound to be a good game.
Here’s how we think United will line up on Saturday evening…
