José Mourinho’s Manchester United side are straight back into Premier League action on Saturday when they welcome Brighton and Hove Albion to Old Trafford.
After falling to a shock defeat to Basel in the Champions League in midweek, the Reds will be looking to amends for their second-half performance in Switzerland and put on a better display against Chris Hughton’s side and keep up the chase to Premier League leaders Manchester City.
Brighton, meanwhile, come into this game on the back of a 2-2 draw against Stoke City on Monday. The Seagulls have put together a five-match unbeaten run and sit in the top half of the Premier League table after a steady start.
The last time these two sides met in the league was back in March 1983, where Brighton managed to come away with a point after a 1-1 draw, but the Seagulls have only ever beaten United once in 16 games and that record should continue on Saturday.
