It wasn’t all plain sailing for Manchester United when newly-promoted Brighton arrived at Old Trafford on Saturday.
United managed to come away from the game with all three points thanks to an own goal from Brighton defender Lewis Dunk to momentarily close the gap between themselves and Manchester City, who play on Sunday.
It was Ashley Young’s deflected effort that found its way past Matthew Ryan in goal and gave United the only goal of the game.
