Daley Blind fears his United career is over

Manchester United utility player Daley Blind ‘fears’ that his United career is over, according to The Times.

The 27-year old is out of contract at the end of the season, and although United are reportedly keen to trigger a one-year extension in Blind’s contract, the move is believed to be aimed at protecting Blind’s transfer value, rather than prolonging his playing career with the club.

The Netherlands’ international is said to be frustrated with a lack of playing time this season, and is rumoured to be open to a move.

Inter Milan have previously been linked with a move for the Dutchman and could be prepared to make another move for him in the summer.

United signed Blind, son of Danny Blind who was sacked as Netherlands head coach earlier this year, from Ajax in 2014 for a fee of £13.8million.

Blind has played 135 times for United across all competitions, scoring six goals.
