Marouane Fellaini has reportedly agreed to leave Manchester United to sign for Besiktas at the start of next season, according to Fotomac.
Fellaini’s current contract at Old Trafford runs out at the end of this season, meaning when the January transfer window opened over a month ago, he was able to discuss with foreign clubs a free transfer in the summer on a pre-contract agreement.
A soon as it was reported that the Belgian midfielder would not sign a contract extension, Turkish giants Besiktas were very interested.
However, this would leave a huge gap in United’s central midfield, if the 30-year-old were to leave Old Trafford.

Besiktas are doing well this season. The Turkish champions currently sit fourth in the Super Lig, four points behind Galatasaray. They are also in the last 16 of the Champions League, where they travel to the Allianz Arena on Tuesday to face Bayern Munich the day before the Red Devils travel to Seville to play their first leg.
Fellaini could only improve this team, with the incredible talent that he has shown in the red of Manchester United this season, due to injuries to Paul Pogba giving him more minutes than expected this season.
So Fellaini is likely to be on his way out of Salford, but what is to be seen is how José Mourinho reacts to this in the centre of the park.
