Anthony Martial’s move to Juventus is off, with the Italian giants now looking at a deal for Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.
Martial had been linked with a move to Turin, but reports from TeamTalk suggest that Juve have shelved a move for the French striker, with Alvaro Morata reportedly giving a green light for a return to Italy.
Morata is reportedly unhappy in London, and wants a move away from Chelsea. Juventus will reportedly make an offer for Morata, who only joined Chelsea in the Summer, if Mario Mandzukic leaves the club.
This means Martial looks set to stay at United, even with the Frenchman being out of favour under Jose Mourinho. Martial is very much down the pecking order, behind Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku in the United striking lineup.
Alexis Sanchez’s move to Old Trafford did not help Martial either, with the Chilean becoming another obstacle on the Frenchman’s road to getting back to the starting eleven.
