It’s been reported that Manchester United are interested in Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos as a replacement for Paul Pogba, according to the Independent.
They feel that a deal to take the player away from the Spanish side will be tough with him playing such a key role for them this season and with another European final on the horizon.
While wages wouldn’t be a problem, luring the player away from the La Liga giants will be difficult, with Kroos regularly one of the first names on Zinedine Zidane’s teamsheet.

Despite Kroos being United’s number one target this summer, the Red Devils look far more likely to land either Sergej Milinković-Savić of Lazio or Shakhtar Donetsk’s Fred.
Paul Pogba has struggled for form this season at United and Jose Mourinho is open to replacing the Italian at the end of the current campaign, with Pogba having so far failed to live up to his transfer fee.
