With the Russia 2018 World Cup drawing closer each day, we will be taking a close look at the Manchester United players that could make a change in the World biggest Football competition.

The Reds Devils have already secured themselves a spot in the Champions League 2018/2019 campaign, as they will be ending the season in the second position of the Premier League, thanks to their coach Jose Mourinho tactics and the players talents.

Here will be five Reds Devils that could improve in their footballing career with their respective countries. For this special insight we teamed up with Matthew Enroe, editor of FootballPredictions.com, to give some extra insight.

Luke Shaw

Major of Manchester United supporters could disagree on this as the England international is widely regarded as a major flop this season. The Injury-striken left back was destined for greatness during the 2013/14 campaign with his boyhood club.

Owing some to injury, Shaw has been limited in game-time since the arrival of Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

The 22-year-old has only been able to manage nine appearances for the Reds this season and could be on his way out this summer.

As one of few players selected players in the England team for the World Cup, Shaw will be desperate to prove Mourinho wrong in his time at Russia and fire up his professional career.

Anthony Martial

Another Reds Star that have been reduced of first team regular at the Old Trafford is France International, Anthony Martial, who is no doubt the French first team winger.

Martial has been impressive in the start of the season, till the January winter transfer window brought in Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, who took his spot immediately at the left wing.

The French forward has been vital for his country, with a scene coming when France faced 2014 World Cup champions Germany, in a Friendly match. The 22-year-old creating two assists for Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette in the match that ended in a draw.

Paul Pogba

French midfielder, Paul Pogba will be keen to improve his skills in the Russia 2018 World Cup as they will need to challenge for the FIFA Cup, mainly because it only happens once in every four years.

With the experiences of football gathered from Italy during his spell with Juventus and English football, Pogba could be game changer for France at the World Cup in Russia.

Ander Herrera

According to various stats, Ander Herrera has not been in his best form for the Red Devils this season, with low take on and tackles in the campaign.

However, being named in the team to represent Spain in the World Cup, Herrera will be desperate to redeem his form and further improve in his skills and will just be one to watch out for in the FIFA competition at Russia.

Romelu Lukaku

Belgian Striker, Romelu Lukaku will be one to watch out for in the Russia 2018 World Cup, as he will be getting a major upgrade in his national team with Eden Hazard assisting him upfront.

The 2018 World Cup is set to kick-off in Russia on June 14. According to experts in the industry several World Cup predictions believe that Pogba and Lukaku are 2 players to watch and might be able to accelerate in Russia.
