Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku is in a race against time to be fit for the FA Cup final, the Telegraph reports.
Manager Jose Mourinho has revealed a late fitness test will decide if he will be able to start the game against Chelsea.
The Belgian international is United’s top scorer with 27 goals in all competitions this season, but he hasn’t played since going off with an ankle injury in the 2-1 victory over Arsenal.
Missing the game against his former club would make the task much harder for Mourinho’s side, although he will give every opportunity for him to make the team in time:

Lukaku we have to wait until the last moment. I don’t want to lie to you and say he doesn’t play and then he plays, so Lukaku we have to wait on.
Mourinho did confirm that forward Anthony Martial was fit for the game after he suffered a training injury last week, keeping him out of the final league game with Watford.
Most fans of United will view the season depending on tomorrow’s result, but Mourinho said the result wouldn’t define their campaign:
I know the effort, the negative things and I’m not going to change my analysis of the season because of one match, not at all.
