Manchester United are closing in on the signing of SL Benfica star Anderson Talisca, according to reports.
The Brazilian playmaker was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford last summer but no move came to fruition. This year, however, it appears as though a move may be on the cards.
It’s claimed by Turkish news outlets, as cited by Calciomercato, that an agreement is in place for United to sign Talisca from Benfica as he returns from his loan spell at Besiktas.
Talisca has flourished during his temporary period with the Turkish Super Lig giants, piquing the interest of many clubs across Europe, including United.
Jose Mourinho is understood to be keen on recruiting plenty of quality this summer as he looks to lead his side back into contention to compete for the Premier League title next season.
Talisca has already been linked with a move to Roma this summer but if reports are to be believed, United have already stolen a march on their Italian counterparts.
