Manchester United are preparing a £30 million move for Valencia right-back Joao Cancelo, according to the Daily Mirror.
Inter Milan had Cancelo on-loan last season and could yet take up the option to make the full-backs deal a permanent one.
The Italian side have yet to activate that clause, which has provided Jose Mourinho with an opportunity to swoop in for the fellow Portuguese man.
United are certainly in the market for a right-back with Southampton’s Cedric Soares also linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks.
Any new signing would be direct competition with current first choice Antonio Valencia, who has been impressive since converting from winger to full-back.
Cancelo made 28 appearances for Inter last season, scoring one goal and providing four assists, which shows he likes to get forward and create.
Another surprise team linked with a move for the Valencia man are newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers, who you would expect the Red Devils would be able to beat off.
