Championship side Blackburn may have a struggle on their hands to keep the teenage talent Jake Garrett, according to ESPN, Manchester United being amongst a host of Premier League and Championship teams after the player.
Garrett, who is just 15 years of age, has already played for the under-18’s side at Ewood Park and he is tipped for a big future by people within the club.
The centre-back has impressed when playing for England under-15’s this calendar year alongside a number of other players who are all signed to Premier League clubs.
The 15-year-old has demonstrated all the attributes of a modern-day centre-back when playing for England, he is comfortable in possession of the ball and has a good range of passing as well as being physical when defending.
The clubs that have shown an interest in Garrett so far include Manchester United, Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Leeds, Derby, Watford and Fulham. They are likely to test the resolve of Blackburn this summer by making a move for the promising talent.
Manchester United are particularly interested in Garrett as they are looking to improve their youth set-up at the club and look to produce future stars of the first-team.
