French side Marseille have been priced out of a deal for Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
L’Equipe say that the player’s agent has held talks with the French side but they are unable to meet his wage demands.
Talks are said to have taken place in France regarding a move, but a deal is thought to be unlikely.
The Ligue 1 outfit are now said to be considering a move for Manchester City’s Yaya Toure as an alternative.
Milan are thought to be leading the race to sign the player this summer, but he has also been linked with moves to Turkey.

Besiktas have been long-term admirers of the player and could look to pounce with the midfielder set to leave Old Trafford.
Reports have claimed that United offered new deals to the player in a bid to keep him at Old Trafford, but the Belgian international has rejected them as he seeks regular first-team football.
