Manchester United are reportedly leading the race to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio this summer.
According to claims from French news outlet RMC Sport, as cited by Calciomercato, the Red Devils have expressed the strongest interest in signing the Serbian international.
Milinkovic-Savic has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent months but United were thought to have been put off by Lazio’s excessive valuation of their star man.
Simone Inzaghi’s side are reportedly demanding a sum of €100 million for the midfielder and if RMC are to be believed, United may actually be prepared to pay this despite earlier reports.

Milinkovic-Savic enjoyed a tremendous season in Italy and further established himself as one of Serie A’s most skilled midfielders.
Jose Mourinho wants to recruit a new central midfielder to strengthen his Manchester United side this summer and one of his primary targets appears to be Milinkovic-Savic.
United will be out to mount a more competitive title challenge next season and it’s seemingly hoped that the addition of Milinkovic-Savic would go some way in helping them to do this.
