Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba has stated that he is keen on a move to the Premier League, despite previously saying that he wishes to stay at the Camp Nou until he retires, according to the Daily Mail.
The Spaniard has been waiting 18 months to start talks over a new contract to keep him at the club, which has instigated interest from several top European clubs and turned his head.
United is one of those clubs showing an increasing interest in the left-back, but Jose Mourinho’s old side Chelsea could look to rival them for Alba’s signature.

Mourinho will look to sort out the left-back situation at Old Trafford, with Luke Shaw reportedly tired of Mourinho’s inconsistent treatment of him and wanting a move away from Manchester.
The Red Devils have already been linked heavily with Alex Sandro from Juventus to fill that space, but it looks as if they could now turn to Alba.
