Manchester United are ready to spend €50m on the signing of Alex Sandro from Juventus, according to reports.
The Red Devils are understood to be on the lookout for a natural left-back in the ongoing summer transfer window, with Ashley Young deputising in the role for much of last season.
Sandro has long been linked with a move to United but Juventus are understood to have tabled a five-year contract extension for the Brazilian.

This does not appear to have deterred United in their pursuit of Sandro, with reports from Italy stating that the Red Devils are prepared to part with €50m in their efforts to lure the left-back away from Turin.
Defensive reinforcements have been targeted by Jose Mourinho and Diogo Dalot is set to join from Porto to act as competition for Antonio Valencia on the right-hand side.
On the opposite flank, though, United are pressed for options, further indicating that they could be desperate to recruit Sandro ahead of next season.
